Many people are perplexed by that word in the title of our church. Perhaps they have heard of Baptist, Presbyterian, or Methodist... but Berean? Not so much.
However... We love that word and embrace it as an essential part of our identity. For us, Berean is more than a denominational affiliation. It is an ideal to which we aspire. We seek to be like the original Bereans (Acts 17:10-15) who examined the scriptures day after day and came to the conclusion that Jesus was the Son of God, the long awaited Messiah, who died for sin and rose from the grave.
Like the original Bereans, we aim to value the Bible as the authoritative Word of God. That's why you are likely to hear Biblical exposition in our teaching and preaching. We'd love for you to visit us and hope that you find us to be a friendly group of people who hold the Word of God in high regard.
